The Seniors' Health Insurance Information Program (SHIIP) is a division of the North Carolina Department of Insurance that offers free, objective information about all aspects of Medicare.

SHIIP trains volunteers so they can help Medicare beneficiaries in their communities navigate the Medicare system. And volunteer training is now available on-line.
